MONSTER HOUSE (part 3)

It was the Halloween day. In the morning we decided to do something, to go again and find out what was happening.
“Can you give me your phone, Angie? I’ll call the police” Katy said. I gave her the telephone and after she talked with the policemen we went out.
The police came and we started to explain that the house tried to eat us. The policemen started laughing and told us:
“Stop playing, kids! There’s nothing out there.”
Then I saw that there was a fire burning in the house, in the fire place. I thought that we had to rake out the fire to kill the house.
In the afternoon we decided to get into the house. Right when we wanted to do that, the same policemen came to investigate and closed us in the patrol car. They were both eaten by the house and the car was next. This was how we got into the house.
Inside it there were a lot of toys that were taken by Nebbercracker. We went further and found a locked door. We unlocked it and what we found was scary.
“Um…guys, I think that’s his dead wife” I whispered.
Suddenly the house came alive and threw us out. Outside I saw Nebbercracker.
“Honey, I’m home…” he said and the house seemed like it was happy.
“I know about your wife. You didn’t want her to die, right?”
“Oh, I loved her so much! ... She was a circus star. She wanted to come with me… We started a hole new life together… When started building the house, some kids came. They started hitting her with eggs and she was so heavy that she couldn’t steady anymore. After that she fell. She died…but somehow she still lives.”
